🍂 🍁 🍃 Autumn Breaks in Hawes and Upper Wensleydale, Yorkshire Dales National Park

🧀 🐟 🍟 ☕️ 🍷 🍺 🔥 October onwards is a fabulous time to visit Hawes and have a stay at Heart of Hawes Holiday Cottage. The colours change to richer hues , waterfalls are fuller, and warming by a pub or cottage real fire has just that bit more of a special meaning. It’s quieter too, but Hawes and the dales is very much open 365 days of the year.

Heart Of Hawes is a fabulous cottage at this time of year as all the amenities of Hawes are within a two minute stroll. No long walks in the dark from a remote cottage with us.

🤫 🎥 Pssst…here’s a bit of news for

A British brand will be filming its Christmas advert in Hawes next Thursday…complete with some fake snow just beneath Heart of Hawes Holiday Cottage on The Cobbles.

Which brand, I have no idea? It’s all hush hush. Does anyone know?

Set up around 4pm, main scenes filmed around 7pm and all wrapped up by 9pm. The location manager has been in touch with local residents this week.

So whilst I’m talking about Christmas (adverts), can I confirm our thoughts re Christmas / New Year period breaks at Heart Of Hawes Holiday Cottage. We’re breaking it down into three bite sized breaks;

🎄4 Night Christmas break from 23rd December

3 Night between Christmas and New Year break from 27th December

🎇 4 Nights (or longer) New Year Break from 30th December.

Hawes Christmas lights and decorations are up from the first weekend in December, so we can also offer pre Christmas breaks as well. We can also offer great value early New Year breaks too.

Joyful, a foodies paradise. We cannot recommend visiting here enough!

22 miles from Heart of Hawes Holiday Cottage and about a 40 minutes drive.

Artisan cheese maker, cheese shop, w**e shop, a wonderful pizzeria using cheeses for sale in the shop, bakery, self service meat / ice cream / and milk vendor. Exceptional staff here too!
