Another super review from a first time guest who stayed in The Parlour recently.
Great praise too for our fabulous local the The White Hart Inn, Hawes .....

We came across this absolute gem of a B&B during our road trip through the north of England and stayed for two nights. We were genuinely reluctant to leave.

Our room was beautifully decorated, exceptionally spacious, and spotlessly clean. The attention to detail and all the little touches from the hosts made us feel so welcome and really set this place apart.
Breakfast was delicious, with excellent quality ingredients and plenty of choice. Everything about our stay was warm, relaxed and thoughtfully done.

If you're visiting Hawes, we can't recommend this place highly enough. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Tips for other travellers
We went for a meal at the White Hart Inn and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back a second time during our two-night stay in Hawes.

The food was excellent on both occasions – beautifully cooked, full of flavour and very good quality.Highly recommended.

Another super review from a new guest who stayed in The Snug recently 😄

Firstly, totally recommended!

I had an amazing stay at The House of Hawes and couldn’t fault the experience. The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated, with an amazing view from my room. There are so many little quirky touches and decorations throughout the house, each with its own story, which makes exploring the place such a lovely experience.

The welcome email before arrival was incredibly informative and included everything I needed to know for a smooth check-in. When I arrived, Fiona and Tim gave me such a friendly and warm welcome. Tim even offered to carry my luggage upstairs — but I was fine, thanks Tim! 😊

My hosts were incredibly accommodating and clearly take great pride in making sure everything is impeccable for their guests. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and the attention to detail throughout my stay was exceptional.

And then there was the breakfast...absolutely exquisite! The food was delicious, with clearly high-quality ingredients, and the presentation was genuinely Michelin-star-worthy. It’s the little things that really distinguish The House of Hawes from the rest, such as remembering that I have muesli in the morning and making sure the milk was already waiting at my breakfast table. Those thoughtful touches really make you feel looked after.

I genuinely couldn’t fault anything about my stay. A huge thank you to Fiona and Tim for making my time at The House of Hawes so enjoyable and memorable. I would absolutely love to return.

It's a super walk to Hardraw Force from The House at Hawes and of course you can combine it with a little drink and maybe lunch at the Green Dragon Pub. How's that for a good day in The Dales!
