Today’s action…!

You just know you are in for a treat when the venue What3words are loving/revamping/beauty!

One of today’s weddings took place at Rule Valley Escapes.

The guests gather, the music plays, the wind picks up, the drizzle begins—just enough to stir the kilts and whisper through the heather. Guests glance upward, hopeful.

A typical Scottish summer, some might say. And still, somehow, it’s perfect.

A huge thank to team Rule Valley Escapes for quickly rethinking layouts etc to enable this weekends guests a pleasant stay. Sadly Storm Isha decided to take the garage roof at the Fairule Cottages, along with a hot tub lid which we found 3 days later in a field of Kale. The roof made the current hot tub area unsafe so a quick rethink, a lot of moving fences / hot tubs and emptying the garage / storage area that no longer had a roof and we are all set!

Wishing all our 2023 guests a very happy Christmas. We really enjoyed welcoming you to . Here is Mackside a few years ago, with Pickle enjoying the snow. Now to enjoy a few days of downtime.
