Amazing stay in the most beautiful cottage
+ Where do I start? From the moment we booked, Lynne was fabulous. Communication and helpfulness was spot on. We requested a slightly earlier check in and this was accepted. Directions for parking and locating the key were clear.
The cottage itself - wow! This property not only has the wow factor in bucketloads, is absolutely stunning with the most beautiful interiors, it also has a lovely, homely feel.
Lynne has thought of EVERYTHING! Such a lovely thing to find biscuits, fresh milk, hot chocolate, coffee, an assortment of teas and even a fresh loaf, butter and jam. Was happy to discover two cafetieres (Id brought my own as you just never know )
It goes beyond this though, instructions are super clear and helpful. In the bathroom, there are local products and a drawerful of helpful items EVEN A SPARE CONTACT LENS CASE AND SOLUTION. this is someone who is giving her guests the ultimate in feeling "looked after "
Also, the bathrobes and slippers - another lovely touch. And the TOWELS! Not thin, scratchy towels that barely cover you - thick, fluffy, good sized towels. (Again Id actually brought my own towel but I neednt have done )
Every room is stunning and decorated with care. Comfy sofas for relaxing.
We visited during a heatwave so didnt need the duvet but there was a duvet available plus extra pillows/blankets. Trinket boxes beside the bed for jewellery, watches etc.
It was so interesting to be able to see the book with the cottage renovations in too.
All in all a well located , lovingly restored cottage that you instantly feel welcome in.
