It is with sadness that we'd like to announce that as of the start of April 2026, Lois and David will be retiring from their ownership of Shaftoes B&B. It has been a fantastic 9 years, meeting some amazing and wonderful guests along the way, not to mention the members of the village who have been so helpful and supportive from the day we moved in.
Daniela and Mehdi will be taking over the frying pan and washing machine as they take Shaftoes into it's next chapter, and we know they will be the next brilliant owners of this great little business.
The last 9 years have truly flown by, and we've made some great new friends along the way. Again, another great big thank you to all of our lovely friends in Haydon Bridge and guests from throughout the UK and from Australia to Zimbabwe. A shout out too to the local tradesmen who have helped shape Shaftoes into a cracking place to stay.
