⚡ **A little question for our Katoomba guests!** 🚗

We're thinking about adding an electric vehicle (EV) charging point at Katoomba, and we'd love to know what you think.

If you drive an electric car, would having a charger right at the chalet be useful when you're staying with us in Hayle? Would it make your holiday a little easier?

We haven't made any decisions yet, so your thoughts would be really helpful!

And if you've stayed at Katoomba before and now drive an EV, we'd particularly love to hear from you. 😊

Amazing shot of Gilbert’s. This is about a 10 minute walk from Katoomba through the quiet lanes past the cricket club. It’s fantastic all year round and is dog friendly too! 🐾🐶☕️

👋 Hello and welcome to all our new followers! 💛

I thought it was about time I properly introduced Katoomba- our little beach chalet in Riviere Towans, Hayle, Cornwall. 🌊🏖️

We bought Katoomba in 2020 and have loved turning it into a cosy little base for exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall.

It’s a 2-bedroom chalet sleeping up to 4, just a short walk through the Towans to the 3-mile sandy beach at St Ives Bay. 🏖️

We’re dog friendly too 🐾, and one of my favourite things is that you can park up and forget about the car for the day- just walk down to the beach!

Inside, there’s an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with underfloor heating, making it just as lovely for a cosy autumn or winter break as it is for a summer holiday. 🔥☕

We’ve just had another busy summer and are now taking bookings for 2027-although we still have our final three weeks of 2026 available from 10th–31st October. 🍂

I wasn’t lucky enough to have the geothermal pool in my youth! Well worth a visit and a wander across the prom and into Penzance!

We are so happy to announce that the Geothermal pool is back up at 32 degrees - thanks to the wonderful team from Thermal Earth. We're open from 1000 today with our last session at 1700, bookable online
We apologise to those we had to cancel but with uncertainty about the repair and the resulting temperature, we had to play safe. Hope to see you at the Pool today!
