When we're not at what do we do? We go and see other wagons of course. is around 30 minutes from us and is a day of much fun, especially when cousin Mylo is there. The day isn't complete without a climb on the gypsy wagons, donuts for the sugar rush and a pint in afterwards 💙

Meet Ringo.

Official librarian of the Wilderness Wagon. Stoic. Silver. Slightly judging your reading choices.

Ringo guards a carefully curated stash of wild-at-heart books to stir your soul: vanlife manuals, wild swimming guides, cabin dreams, and tales of freedom in the great outdoors. Nestle into the bow-top, crack open a spine, and let the wild in.

Because every wagon needs a library. And every library needs a monkey.

You have to make it personal they say. You have to show the faces behind the action. Make it come to life, make it breathe. OK if you say so. This is the Wilderness A team responsible for stoking the dream making machinery. I'm Matt, the chief dream engineer, ably assisted by Sophie and Harrison, Associate Dreamweavers. The wagon some say it's madness, some say it's genius, some say it's a bloody good place to stay and recharge your soul. We know it's special because our guests tell us. Come and see for yourself.

This is the place to be. The place to relax. The place to reconnect.
We're only an hour from Central London, but might as well be light years away. Here the pace is slow, the vibes are good and you have space to breathe. We still have some availability over the Summer so look in your diary and book your dates soon. Link in Bio.

Here are a few of our favourite things.......

Honestly we're spoilt for choice for cool things to see and do at situated as we are in the heart of West Sussex.

A dreamscape of lakes, waterfalls, and fiery seasonal colour. Designed by Capability Brown and now a National Trust gem, Sheffield Park is a horticultural haven where nature and art meet.

Life’s better down here.
The Sloop Inn has had the refurb it deserves and is looking gorgeous— and it’s only a short walk across the fields from the Wagon.

Proper Sussex freehouse. Pouring Harvey’s Best — the only pint to be seen drinking around here — and serving up food that’s genuinely exciting (just like their sister pub, The Jolly Sportsman).

Harvey’s share their motto with Sussex: We Won’t Be Druv. We agree. We won't be pressured into doing anything we deserve some downtime in this lovely beer garden.

Come stay, come eat, come see what the fuss is about.
