Join us for a day of experiential workshops based at IOU Hostel and surrounding landscape, working with a range of creative facilitators, makers, artists and exploring the connection between creative practice and nature.

A chance to explore a range of creative disciplines including movement, visual art and music, but also have the opportunity to deepen your personal practice.

The 1 day event includes 3 sessions plus lunch at the Hostel

Tickets are priced at £30 for the day for those individuals or organisations able to cover the participant cost

A number of free places are also available, please select this option if you are freelance, self employed or on low income

Tomorrow is national meadows day! 🍃

Whilst you head up to Highhurst wood meadow do have a trip to our hostel to view our own Wildflower meadow. Designed and maintained by friend of IOU & nationally know garden designer and journalist Jack Wallington .

It’s a nature rich, beautiful mix of meadow, border and viewpoint for the whole of Hebden Bridge. See you here for workshops, art, hostel tours and more as part of Hebden Bridge Open Studios . 🐝🦋🌻

Join us for an informal artists’ breakfast — a chance to meet, network, exchange ideas and share creative practice with fellow artists and makers.

Creative Repair Café
Do you have a creative problem you can’t get past? Bring your ideas, challenges or unfinished projects to our Creative Repair Café and speak to IOU’s team of artists and producers.
