It’s been a joy to work with so many ideas and empowerments from lovely people who have wanted me to work my Milagra temporary tattoo magic to bring their imaginings to life … I so love allowing the free flow of intuition to enhance some of my designs which are now over 2 decades old … always morphing.

I’m especially proud of the organic nature of the mix of plants , essences, tinctures and fruit stains which I’ve developed over these past 20+ years as a henna artist. No chemicals - just good old Mother Nature whispering her age-old secrets and working her magic miracles through me. It’s exciting for me as well as for my clients to witness the design being created , then , once the paste is dry , to see it develop gradually from invisible to an intense black as the ingredients oxidise with the amino acids in the skin.

That’s why I chose to name this new and exciting aspect of my practise “Milagra” which means miracle . We are a big part of it as it unfolds and creative expression brings us to celebration and gratitude

Faun Lodge ready for tonight’s guests - a wonderful man who kept the surprise for his girlfriend all the way along their drive from Leamington-Spa to Hebden Bridge!! … all cosy with fairy lights, warm lamps reflecting in the mosaic mirrored sun and a roaring fire with logs-a-plenty for their stay
