We’re looking for a friendly, confident and hardworking Front of House & Bartender to join the team at The White Lion Hotel, a busy, independent coaching inn in the heart of Hebden Bridge.

We’re all about great food, proper drinks and genuinely warm hospitality. We want our guests to feel looked after without the experience ever feeling forced or formal.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in what they do and wants to be part of a friendly, ambitious hospitality team.

The Role 🍷
You’ll work across our bar and front-of-house operation, helping to deliver excellent service from the moment guests arrive until they leave.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Welcoming and looking after guests throughout their visit
* Taking food and drink orders and delivering them efficiently
* Preparing and serving beers, wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks
* Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar
* Providing knowledgeable and friendly recommendations to guests
* Supporting the wider front-of-house team during busy services
* Taking payments and operating the till system
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
* Helping with opening and closing duties
* Ensuring our guests receive consistently warm, professional service

What We're Looking For 🥃
Experience in hospitality is preferred, particularly bar or table service experience, but personality and attitude are just as important. Full training will be provided for the right person.

☀️ In this role daily;
You'll help serve our premium home-made breakfast to our hotel guests, ensure they receive a fantastic start to their day, and then professionally clean, remake and turnover our hotel bedrooms and public areas to the highest standards.

What we're looking for:
✅ Friendly, positive and approachable personality
✅ Excellent customer service skills
✅ Reliable and punctual. Must be able to arrive at work at 07:30/08:00 for shifts.
✅ Great attention to detail
✅ Able to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Previous customer service or housekeeping experience is preferred, but full training will be provided.

Availability:
‼️ Weekend availability is essential.
‼️ You must be available to work two shifts every weekend between Friday and Sunday.
‼️ There is the opportunity to pick up additional weekday shifts for anyone looking for more hours.

The White Lion is hiring! We’re looking for a new Front of House Supervisor as well as a full-time and part-time team members for our Front of House.

One of our fabulous supervisors is moving on to an excellent general manager job opportunity. That means we have a Front of House supervisor position available with trials starting immediately. Full training can and will be provided but a quality experience in hospitality and customer service is essential.

☀️ Front of House Supervisor
38-40 permanent hours a week
4 day working week as standard
Excellent development role within a quality team

We are also searching for some new members of Front of House to join our team. An excellent attitude and ability to welcome our valued guests with great service and attention to detail is essential. As always, full training can and will be provided. All experience levels considered.
