First proper mow of the year ready for the next four legged guests to securely run around in, to match the beauty of the first stunning sunset of the year.

Horrendous weather these last two weekends so even more special to have gorgeous days like today. Red skies suggest even better tomorrow for our new guests who are spending the rest of the week at The Piggery.

Not only did Jimmy celebrate his 50th birthday at The Piggery this weekend, he also asked his lovely partner Candice for her hand in marriage.....and she said Yes 😀

Our current four legged guests Jök & Atlas are enjoying the log fire after a big walk to Stoodley Pike today.. What a beautiful pair of dogs.

Not only do guests get to experience the stunning sunsets, early risers will get to see the moon setting too. Taken at 6am this morning with the full moon looking fabulous as it disappeared over the horizon.

5 years today since 4 gorgeous girls turned up to the Farm for the first time. We've lost Bramble sadly, but gained a Pollyanna. Whilst little Petal has grown a lot!

It's wonderful to be able to offer alpaca feeding (and goat) to all our guests and its lovely to read the reviews in the guest book or airbnb about what a fantastic opportunity and experience it was for them.

Spring on its way so guests should hopefully get to see them out in the field each day too.

Thanks to our recent guest for sharing these wonderful photos of the gorgeous Holly enjoying her stay at The Piggery. They visited Withens Clough Reservoir and Stoodley Pike, with a trip to National Trust site Hardcastle Crags nr Hebden Bridge.

These are 3 of the most popular attractions visited by our guests, the first two of which can be seen from the back garden, as can our lovely alpacas and Harry the anglo nubian goat, who thinks he's an alpaca!

After 24hrs of non-stop rain, today is quite the opposite. A wonderful view for our guests to wake up to. ❤️

Only 17-19 weekend free in October, but availability in Nov and Dec. Christmas booking cancelled this week if you fancy spending Christmas here (New Year already booked). DM for details.

To celebrate Conrad's 50th birthday's today, we walked to Stoodley Pike. The monument on the border with Lancashire that is visible from the garden. Many guests have done it, but we haven't for a couple of years.

You can either walk all the way from The Piggery or you can, like we did, drive to Withens Clough reservoir car park (12 mins drive) and then 1.5hrs moving time round trip of 4.5 miles.

Whilst 160,000 fans enjoy the return of Oasis just 20 miles down the road this weekend, our guests will be enjoying the sunshiiiiiiine and looking at these gorgeous blue skies.
