Today has been 🐶

Thanks to recent guest Fay for sharing this beautiful pic of Lucy and Nellie as the sunset.

We love welcoming dogs to The Piggery with a fully prepped box of toys, bowls, towels, bed etc and seeing them enjoy their holiday too, running round in the 1000sqm securely fenced garden.

Congratulations to the lovely Joe and Nikki who got engaged at The Piggery this weekend 🥰 Our 2nd engagement of the year!

Their 3rd annual visit to what they call their "happy place" with their 2 gorgeous Dutch Shepherd dogs. Joe said there was nowhere else he would rather propose than here ❤️

Wishing you both the very best and look forward to seeing you again same time next year!

Shearing Day on the farm today for the girls. Difference between breakfast and tea! Look half the size now.

Guests are always offered the opportunity to feed them plus Harry the goat (hiding at the back in first photo).

Massive congratulations to our guest Kayleigh who celebrated her 30th birthday at The Piggery this scorching bank holiday!

We were delighted to help hubby Alex arrange flowers and a replica of their wedding cake from local businesses who we love to support.

Flowers by Hebden Bridge
Cake by .g.uk uk Sowerby Bridge

Both looked stunning and Kayleigh was absolutely delighted.

First proper mow of the year ready for the next four legged guests to securely run around in, to match the beauty of the first stunning sunset of the year.

Horrendous weather these last two weekends so even more special to have gorgeous days like today. Red skies suggest even better tomorrow for our new guests who are spending the rest of the week at The Piggery.

Only 5 weekends available between now and end of August if you would like to enjoy this view too. DM for dates.

Not only did Jimmy celebrate his 50th birthday at The Piggery this weekend, he also asked his lovely partner Candice for her hand in marriage.....and she said Yes 😀

Our first Piggery engagement ❤️

Congratulations to you both. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Our current four legged guests Jök & Atlas are enjoying the log fire after a big walk to Stoodley Pike today.. What a beautiful pair of dogs.

Not only do guests get to experience the stunning sunsets, early risers will get to see the moon setting too. Taken at 6am this morning with the full moon looking fabulous as it disappeared over the horizon.

5 years today since 4 gorgeous girls turned up to the Farm for the first time. We've lost Bramble sadly, but gained a Pollyanna. Whilst little Petal has grown a lot!

It's wonderful to be able to offer alpaca feeding (and goat) to all our guests and its lovely to read the reviews in the guest book or airbnb about what a fantastic opportunity and experience it was for them.

Spring on its way so guests should hopefully get to see them out in the field each day too.

Thanks to our recent guest for sharing these wonderful photos of the gorgeous Holly enjoying her stay at The Piggery. They visited Withens Clough Reservoir and Stoodley Pike, with a trip to National Trust site Hardcastle Crags nr Hebden Bridge.

These are 3 of the most popular attractions visited by our guests, the first two of which can be seen from the back garden, as can our lovely alpacas and Harry the anglo nubian goat, who thinks he's an alpaca!
