Today’s video is a little different. We usually talk about new dishes and what’s happening here at the pub, but there’s something bigger happening across hospitality that feels important to address ‼️
Right now, pubs and restaurants across the UK are under huge pressure. Rising wages, energy bills and food costs mean many businesses are struggling just to break even - even some of the biggest names in the industry have spoken openly about it 🔊
But despite all that, I genuinely believe there’s never been a better time for pubs in our local area. We’re incredibly lucky to have so many brilliant, independent venues on our doorstep, each offering something different - whether that’s great food, a proper pint, or just a warm and welcoming atmosphere ✨
What’s really inspiring is that we’ve even seen pubs reopening locally after years of closure. That takes courage, hard work and a real belief in hospitality. So this is really just a message to say:- if you can, please support your local independent pubs. Every visit, every drink and every meal genuinely makes a difference 🙌
