After eight happy years, more than 3,000 breakfasts and 1,000 homemade cakes, it’s time for us to hang up our aprons, get the kettle on and put our feet up!
On Sunday 11th December we will be saying goodbye to our final guests as we close Croft House as a Bed and Breakfast and return it back to our family home.
Who knows, we may even head off on a gap year, with Alfie in tow!
Over the years we have had the pleasure of welcoming guests from all over the world, and have loved to get to know them and share this beautiful corner of North Yorkshire. Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us and recommended us to others.
We would like to extend our particular thanks to the fantastic local businesses who have supported us over the years, providing us with the best quality local ingredients that our guests could enjoy, as well as our wonderful neighbours at and . And of course, we can’t forget our girls, the hens, who have supplied the golden yolks for all of those cakes and breakfasts over the years!
However, we are not disappearing completely and will continue to share our life in North Yorkshire on here with walks, gardening, cakes, the house and things of interest if you are visiting the area.
Best wishes and thank you,
Frances and Stuart
