Sadly there will be no fish BBQ this week😞 The weather forecast is ever changing and about as useful as a chocolate teapot🙃 We've also been hit with some unforseen staffing issues😬

We will be back next week for our last one of the summer @ our End Of Summer Party!!

The good news...

We still have live music this Saturday from the incredible All Day Breakfast Band @ 7pm🎤 💃

The recent hot weather pushed our refrigeration to its limits, and we had four breakdowns, including one today, that could have forced us to close and caused major disruption. Each time, Concept Cooling Ltd were here within hours, getting us back up and running before it affected customers or staff.

Their support is a perfect example of why the local economy matters. When you work with nearby businesses, you’re not just buying a service — you’re keeping skilled jobs in the area, strengthening the local supply chain, and building a network of people who step in when things go wrong. Every pound spent locally circulates back into the community, and this summer has shown just how valuable that is.

We’re extremely grateful for Concept Cooling’s fast response and commitment. Strong local partnerships keep small businesses like ours — and the wider community — thriving.

Wish I'd been there to see this 😁... 3 miles from Number 7 in Cornwall ... Shipwrights Arms Helford -the drop-ins from the boss sound pretty awesome 😁... iykyk😉😘
The "boss"/owner Rufus Taylor- drummer for The Darkness and son of Roger Taylor from Queen and rest of The Darkness "popped in" for an impromptu live set on their way back from performing at Boardmasters😊
