🌒✨ What a night in Porthleven! ✨🌒

Last night we headed out on our boat from Porthleven to watch the eclipse — and what an incredible place to see it from! 🌊🛥️

Out on the water, with the Cornish coastline around us and the eclipse above… definitely one of those evenings we won’t forget! 😍

We managed to capture some of it on video, so we thought we’d share it with you all. 🎥🌒

Just another reason why we love this beautiful little corner of Cornwall! 💙

⭐️A little explanation from Polladras… ⭐️

You may have noticed there’s straw EVERYWHERE around the park at the moment… and when we say everywhere, we mean EVERYWHERE! 😂

We’d love to tell you it’s because we’ve secretly opened a petting zoo 🐄🐑🐴 or that a herd of cute little farm animals have moved into Polladras…

Sadly, no. 😂

Our lovely neighbouring farmers have been busy in the fields, and thanks to a combination of harvesting, tractors and a helpful Cornish breeze 🌾💨, their straw has decided that Polladras looks like a lovely place for a holiday too! 🤦‍♀️😂

So if you’re finding straw on your pitch, around your caravan, stuck to your shoes or somehow appearing in places straw really has no business being… we promise we haven’t decorated the park with it! 🤣

Just one of the joys of being surrounded by beautiful Cornish farmland! 🌾💚

At least it’s free rustic décor… 😂
