Well, wasn’t that a fabulous weekend full of sunshine?! Fear not it’s here to stay for a couple of days, and whilst it might get a bit cloudy towards the end of the week and into the weekend, temperatures are still forecasted in the high teens!

Weather Update for Your Stay with us (May Half Term Edition!) ☀️

Tuesday & Wednesay
Glorious sunshine with highs of 24°! Make sure you’ve packed the sun cream and drink plenty of fluids to keep hydrated. Whilst enjoying the sunshine might be top of your list, be sure to have a shady spot nearby if it gets a bit much!

Thursday & Friday
Light cloud and gentle breeze, but still with the balmy temperatures in the high teens during the day. A welcome relief for the night time though as temperatures drop a bit, hopefully making sleep a bit more comfortable than it has been for the past few days!

Saturday
Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze with highs of around 18°. Don’t let the breeze catch you out and again be sure to have your sun cream to hand!

Sunday
Temperatures still up in the high teens, however the typical Cornish drizzle is set to head in, so maybe a good day for relaxing and having that lazy Sunday you’ve been craving after a busy week. If you are heading out, make sure you’ve got a light rainproof jacket in case you get caught in the showers. 🌧️

What to Bring

✔ Comfortable walking shoes
✔ Layers for cooler mornings and evenings
✔ Sunglasses and sun cream
✔️ Your water bottle if you’re heading out into the heat

Your Friendly Camp & Surrounding Area Weather ☀️🌦️

Week Commencing 18th May

This week starts off a little mixed, but the forecast improves nicely as the days go on — perfect timing for getting out and exploring on the Bank Holiday Weekend!

Monday – Wednesday
A classic Cornish mix of cloud, sunny spells and scattered showers. It’ll feel fresh rather than cold, with daytime temperatures around 12–15°C, so a waterproof jacket and layers are a good idea if you’re heading out to the coast paths or beaches. Breezy at times, especially on exposed clifftops.

Thursday – Friday
Things brighten up with more settled weather and longer sunny spells. Temperatures lift to around 16°C, making it much more comfortable for exploring spots like Kynance Cove, Mullion Harbour or Cadgwith.

Weekend
The pick of the week. Dry, brighter and pleasantly warm, with highs reaching 18°C on Saturday and plenty of sunshine expected into Sunday. Ideal weather for beach days, coastal walks, or simply relaxing outside with a drink.

What to pack
• Light waterproof / windproof jacket (Cornish weather can change quickly)
• Layers for cooler mornings and evenings
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Sunglasses and sun cream for the brighter end of the week

Remember:
Even when inland feels warm, the breeze along the cliffs can make it feel several degrees cooler — take an extra layer if you’re heading to the coast.
