The eagerly awaited West Kernow Way has now been launched. If you’re looking for a cycling challenge combined with visiting some of the fascinating Cornish historical sites then check out the latest route from CyclingUK.

The route passes within a few hundred meters of The Blue Door Cottage in Porthleven and can be adapted in to a multi-day tour returning to Porthleven each night and the comfort of The Blue Door Cottage and Porthleven’s famous eateries.

The Blue Door Cottage - Porthleven, Cornwall

Current Government restrictions relating to holiday cottages in England are set to be lifted on 4th July 2020 (subject to review). With this in mind we have removed our booking restrictions from this date forward.

In the event government rules change and prevent you from holidaying on your booked date rest assured we are offering a full refund.

The Blue Door is a 2 bedroom, cosy cottage with garden, just a 2 minute walk to restaurants, pubs, beach, harbour and amenities

Located in the heart of the charming village of Porthleven with its harbour, beach and a selection of award-winning restaurants all within just a couple of hundred metres.

The cottage has a double and a twin bedroom, comfortably sleeping four guests with an option for a fifth guest. There is a full size single trundle bed available for a fifth guest if required.

Outside there is a small garden and seating area next to our palm tree for outside dining.
