I had the absolute pleasure of greeting a family to Fuzzy’s this evening to view re a booking. Turns out that I had visited them a few years ago as Santa. The lovely young daughter recognised me as Santa. I had to go along with it as this is my summer retreat and explain why I was here. She totally believed it. My point is that the magic and wonder that the whole Christmas/Santa invokes. It gave me immense pleasure keeping her and her brother’s belief going. They left here as true believers. Our children’s lives go so quickly and as far as I’m concerned the longer we can indulge their innocent fantasies and protect them from the harshness of the real world the better.

Another wonderful review, thank you very much.

What a great way to spend the last Bank Holiday weekend of the year. Four lovely families, great guests and memories made. Thank you all for coming and we would love to welcome you all back.

The weather. Twice this summer, I’ve organised an outdoor yoga class and I’ve had the idea during a heatwave.
Twice this summer, rain has been forecast for the day of the class.
Classes take weeks to organise and promote. The weather is definitely against me.
Tomorrow morning we have our Family Yoga with the Alpacas class at 10-11am at Fuzzy's Farm
I stopped promoting it because I have not known what to do after all the hard work of getting it organised and the ever changing forecast.
The families who have booked are happy to take a chance and go ahead in the rain.
If it rains, we’ll do standing poses in our shoes and raincoats.
The alpacas will still be interested in being fed.
If it’s horribly wet I’ll refund or do something else.
Maybe look out the window in the morning and decide whether you’d like to come. There is still loads of room!
Meanwhile, enjoy this photo of a giant parrot eating a chimney

Early morning feed with overnight guests. They seem to be enjoying the rain too.
