❤️ Our Annual Poppy Walk is back! ❤️

Join us on Saturday 7th November at 9am for a lovely morning of fresh air, friendly faces and fundraising for the Royal British Legion! 🌺

🥾 Setting off from The Temple Bar Inn, we’ll head up to Ewyas Harold Common before making our way back to the pub for a well-earned breakfast bap, tea or coffee! ☕🥓

❤️ Suggested donation of £7 per person.

We’ll also have plenty of homemade cakes and a fabulous raffle to help raise even more for this wonderful cause!

🎁 Can you help? We’re still looking for donations of raffle prizes and homemade cakes. Any contributions, big or small, would be hugely appreciated!

Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends, family and walking shoes! 🥾❤️

Let’s make it another lovely morning for a cause close to our hearts. 🌺

❤️ Our Poppy Raffle is back! ❤️

Alongside our annual Poppy Walk, our Poppy Raffle will be returning this year, and we’re already off to a lovely start with some fantastic prizes donated!

We’re hoping to put together another brilliant selection of prizes, and any donations, big or small, would be so gratefully received. ❤️

🎟️ Raffle tickets are £5 per strip, available to buy from the bar now and on the day of the Poppy Walk.

If you’d like to donate a prize, please drop it into the pub or send us a message so we can add it to our growing prize list!

❤️ Our Poppy Weekend is nearly here! ❤️

We’re getting ready for a very special weekend here at The Temple, bringing our lovely village community together to raise money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. 🌺

🏃 Friday 6th – Saturday 7th November
Our 24-hour Poppy Run Challenge! From 9am Friday to 9am Saturday, we’ll be keeping the treadmill moving for a full 24 hours, all for a wonderful cause.

🚶 Saturday 7th November
Our Third Annual Poppy Walk sets off at 9am, taking us on a lovely walk through the village and up to Ewyas Harold Common, before heading back via St Michael’s Church. And of course, there’ll be a breakfast BBQ waiting for us afterwards! 🌭

There’ll also be our Poppy Raffle, homemade cakes and plenty of opportunities to get involved throughout the weekend.

Whether you’re running, walking, donating or simply popping along to cheer everyone on, we’d love you to be part of it.

Here’s to another weekend of community spirit, smiles and making a difference together. ❤️

Some miles, some pauses, plenty of smiles, lots of catching up and, of course, coffee and cake at The Temple afterwards! ☕🍰
