We absolutely love this Raring2go Hereford and Worcester magazine! A new one is always in the welcome basket for our next guests (each set of guests get a new one to keep). It's full of things to do and local places to go - our guests plan what they are going to do and where they are going to visit using it. So much better than dog-eared leaflets - this is always up to date and relevant!

Disability? You are NOT an afterthought.

Everything about Rosedale is centred around our guests with additional mobility needs. It's how we roll.

We know how much more expensive it can be to holiday when you have additional mobility needs. We have lived that for years (and been veey limited by it too).

That's why we are as well equipped as possible, the hire cost savings for our guests are huge. Potentially over £900 saving on equipment hire costs, because you don't have to hire it in. We have it there for your use, free of charge.

Here's a break down of just some of the equipment we have, and what it would cost to hire each item in for a week:
Arctic centrobed full profiling bed, with overnight turn function: £165 plus around £100 delivery fee.
Tilt in space shower chair: £42 plus £84 delivery fee.
Hoist: £164 plus £84 delivery fee.
Air mattress: £24 (£12 per week but minimum of 2 weeks hire plus £84 delivery fee.
Riser recliner chair (we have 2 :)) to hire one is is £87 per week plus £84 delivery.

Yes, there's other equipment we would love to provide to help as many guests as possible... we have a wish list.... as soon as we can afford to, we add more equipment.

When someone in the family uses a powerchair, the accessible world can become much smaller. A family get together is no longer possible at the homes of sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. We held many at Rosedale when it was our family home - it allowed us all to get together, and our son to be fully included.
Of course that meant all the prep was down to me (mum) - the food shopping and prep, the house cleaning ready for guests... and the tidy up when everyone left after the party....
