🌧️🧁 A little baking on a rainy day at Evendine House! 🧁🌧️
There’s nothing quite like the smell of something delicious baking in the oven while the rain is falling outside! ☔️💛

Yesterday, one of the residents at Evendine House enjoyed a spot of baking, getting stuck in and creating some tasty treats. It was a lovely way to spend a cosy afternoon, bringing a little sunshine to a rainy day. 🍰👩‍🍳

Well done — we hope everyone enjoyed the delicious results! 😋💕

🌸☀️ What a fabulous Saturday! ☀️🌸

Last weekend, we enjoyed a wonderful Garden Party filled with music, laughter, great food and plenty of smiles! 💕🎶

Our residents and families were treated to a fantastic ukulele band, who had everyone tapping their toes and enjoying the afternoon. 🎵🪕 And then things got a little more competitive… 👀😂

The managers went head-to-head in an inflatable race, with the children joining in the fun too! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎈 There was lots of cheering, laughter and, of course, a little bit of friendly competition! 😆👏

It was a truly fabulous Saturday spent together, making memories and enjoying each other’s company. ❤️

Were you there? What was your favourite part of the day? 🌷👇

👩‍🍳 MEET THE TEAM – SAY HELLO TO DEBBIE! 🍰💕

Next up in our Meet the Team series at Evendine House Care Home is our fabulous Head Cook, Debbie ! 👏

Debbie has been part of the Evendine family since 2020, originally joining us as our second cook before becoming our wonderful Head Chef. ❤️

Here’s a little message from Debbie:
"I’ve worked in the catering industry for the last 30 years in various roles, but my happiest times have been working here at Evendine.
I love my job, especially interacting with all of our lovely residents. I also really enjoy cake making with them! 🎂🍰
I hope to fulfil my catering career here at Evendine until I retire… and require a bed myself! 😂❤️"

We absolutely love having Debbie as part of our Evendine family — and we’re sure our residents would agree! 🥰

👇 Now for the important question…
If Debbie was baking YOUR favourite cake, what would you ask her to make? 🎂

Let us know in the comments — and don’t forget to give Debbie a big hello! 👋❤️
