And just like that, another summer of glamping is coming to an end 🥹

It’s always a little bittersweet packing everything away for the winter, but knowing we get to do it all over again next year makes it a little easier.

So if you’ve spent this summer thinking “we really should do that one weekend”, consider this your reminder that there’s always next year.

A Friday afternoon drive to Herefordshire, waking up under canvas on Saturday, days spent outdoors and evenings around the fire. Sometimes the simple weekends really are the best ones.

Funny how quickly you stop wondering what time it is when there’s nowhere you need to be.

No checking the time, no rushing onto the next thing and, for once, not much reason to be looking at your phone either.

The days just become about being together as a family. Staying outside until you get hungry, chatting for longer than you normally would, and finding plenty to do that doesn’t involve a screen.

And before long, you’ll find you’re not entirely sure what day it is either.

We think that’s when you know you’ve properly switched off.
