Collected from White Heron Estate, on to Frome Valley Vineyard for a tour, tasting and canapés, then 1276 Wines for a cellar tour, tank tasting and lunch.

Back to White Heron for an e-bike or walking tour through the vineyard, orchard and farm and finish with dinner against a spectacular vineyard backdrop.

Day tour includes transport, all tours, tastings, lunch and dinner for £255 per person.

Meet Mrs Green. Jo’s mother, Matriarch of the farm and the one who has seen the most of it. Mrs Green remembers the farm during wartime and after, when the whole workforce arrived on bicycles, up the same lanes our guests now ride out on with a little electric help.

Meet Mel. Our property manager, and keeper of six houses with rather a lot to say for themselves.

Ask about the cottages and she’ll take you back a bit.
📍 The Sheriffs, our grand 18th century country house and home to weddings of up to 120 guests.
📍 The Colloquy, perfect for smaller weddings or conferences of up to 40 guests and built around the Victorian stable yard.
📍 Gardener’s Cottage, home to the Head Gardener since around 1850.
📍 The Lodge, watching the drive for a century and more.
📍 The Forge, where the blacksmith shod ten carriage horses.
📍 Field Cottage, sat out in the orchards with the Black Mountains in the window.

Mel knows the lot, including which floorboards creak and how long it takes to change all the beds for up to 64 guests.
