Picking Daughter LH (Social Media Skivvy) a red cabbage. “It’s been eaten by bugs rather a lot, but there might be a couple of leaves in the middle”. Will there, or won’t there be something edible inside… it is quite a holey bug-ridden specimen 😳

The veg garden has been giving of beans and courgettes though, which are delicious 💚

Making Mr LH put away the ugly hosepipe for a photo, and then quite liking the ASMR-y reel of him doing it, so posting it… Lower House is on its own spring, not mains, so doesn’t have the same hosepipe ban restrictions, but we still need to be very economical with the water as our spring has dried up in the past. So dry everywhere 😢 And those awful fires in Ebbw Vale 😢
