Family owned hotel, spa with pool, steam room and sauna and gym. 16 in house en-suit rooms in main hotel and 7 Deluxe rooms in the annex along with 2 apartments. The Burton Hotel is an attractively modernised coaching inn set in the heart of a small market town near the Welsh border. Situated on Offa's D**e long distance footpath, Kington is a natural centre for rambling, fishing, golf (ten courses within easy reach), pony trekking, castle hunting, paragliding, motor rally school, bellringing, family history courses, bird spotting - red kites, survival courses, rare plant safari ... or chilling out by the pool.

Join us on Friday 6th November 2026 for an indulgent eight-course seasonal tasting menu, celebrating the very best of autumn’s ingredients, accompanied by a carefully selected flight of w**es.

✨ OUR GOURMET EVENINGS ARE HERE! ✨
Last Thursday, we were delighted to host our very first Gourmet Evening at The Burton Hotel & Cloud 9 — and what a wonderful evening it was! 🥂🍽️
Our guests enjoyed a specially curated 7-course menu, accompanied by carefully selected w**e pairings and beautifully presented dishes, all prepared by our talented Head Chef. 👨‍🍳✨

The evening was a huge success, and we’re excited to announce that Gourmet Nights will now be returning on a regular basis! 🎉
We’ll be showcasing the very best of local produce, with seasonal menus and special themes, giving you the opportunity to experience a little taste of fine dining right here in the heart of Herefordshire. 🌿🍷
