NEWS | Three former SAS soldiers have launched a new lager to raise funds for veterans from the elite Hereford regiment.

Spec-ops is now on sale in pubs across the city - while one bar in central London also has the beer on tap.

Made with Herefordshire hops, it has been started by three former soldiers with 60 years' service between them.

They started their company called 'Selection' as they were disappointed at the lack of British beer available in UK pubs.

A percentage of the profits generated will be donated to veterans' charities including the SAS Sentinels.
