We are SO thrilled to let you know that Annabel from has arranged for the awesome .rockstars and to come to Crookston WOW WOW WOW!!

Beginner and Improver Courses by Reels Rockstars (see their website 16th June) and Charlotte is doing a talk on the 17th June followed by a question and answer session - a ticketed event so don’t miss out!

We also have a range of amazing pop ups, I’ll post more details shortly showcasing everyone that you can expect to find over the two days.

When the old beech came down in a storm, we couldn’t let it go to waste.

It’s been milled, shaped, and worked into the furniture and fittings you’ll find inside the huts — each piece carrying the grain and character of trees that once stood in the grounds of Crookston 🌳

A broken boiler just as the guests arrive is not what you need on a Friday night! (Posted on stories and I was very grateful for the online moral support from people🙏)

Roll on many attempts later after declogging the chips, priming restarting etc the engineer thankfully was on call over the weekend and talked me through the cleaning out process via WhatsApp!

It’s a filthy business but so rewarding when it started up and that little dial temperature dial went up quickly 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Now off to enjoy the rest of the weekend

Family are the givers of honest opinions, so who best to road test the huts, thanks boy, what a hardship for you!

It’s important work, making sure that the baths work, the bed’s cosy, and the views are as good as we imagine them to be!

I feel that they ought to be tested again soon……(she heads to the booking platform and books it for a two night staycation 😉, see ya Malcolm!, see ya boys!, see ya dogs…..😆)
