Kielder forest this morning. On the North lakeside path. Parked at first car park over the bridge. We then went to The Pheasant Inn near Falstone and I had a wonderful seafood platter while Mike had an Antipasta salad which was just as good. Will go again.

Friday morning at Walltown Quarry. You can see Northumberland, Cumbria and Dumfries and Galloway from here on a clear day. We had Alfie and his mate Gus with us both enjoying the freedom to run wild up there.

Alfie and I just made it walking up to Thorngrafton through the fields and back through the village past the football field. Heavens opened 2 minutes after we got in the house
