Dovecote B&B

Dovecote B&B Dovecote B&B located on Hadrian's Wall Our Grade II listed, 18th century dovecote provides unique self-contained B&B accommodation.

Set in an acre of beautiful gardens, just across the lane from the main family home, we fully refurbished the Dovecote in 2009 and opened to guests that summer. The stone built dovecote provides luxury accommodation over 2 floors and it is now a beautiful bedroom for 2 people with lovely views over the garden and the open countryside. There is a double shower room and living area downstairs, with

a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. We now also have 2 rooms available in the main house. One is a double room with an en-suite bathroom; the other can be either double or twin and has an en-suite shower room. In the morning you can either have continental breakfast or a hearty, locally sourced, full English breakfast.

After many happy years of the B&B I have decided to retire so that we can do more walking and travelling ourselves. We will be open from 10 April until 5 July in 2022 so we'll still be available for a little while yet.
Thank you so much to all of our guests for making the B&B such an enjoyable experience. We'll maybe see you again on the hills somewhere! Jane and David
