Vindolanda Excavations | Photo Friday 📸

Today marked the final day for our windswept and wonderful Period 6 team at Vindolanda!

It’s been a fantastic fortnight with an incredible group of volunteers, joined by a field school from Saxion University and their professor, Wouter Voss. Together they’ve worked hard, uncovered new stories from the past, and made the most of every moment on site.

Now the baton is being passed on once again, with our Period 7 volunteers arriving on Monday to continue uncovering more of our remarkable site.
