Still very much learning the ropes at Wootton Manor and embarrassed to say - didn't get the timing of the hot tub quite right but despite that, a lovely bouquet of white roses was left when the couple departed. What a lovely surprise and gesture.

It's now 1 month since we took ownership. We've had so many lovely families and couples stay. I have to give a mention to my former 'boss' and headteacher of first teaching placement as an NQT - Janet Mills. Lovely to see her and welcome her to Wootton Manor. Thankyou for you lovely posts about Wootton Manor and allowing me to repost them - very much appreciated.

It’s definitely spring again. The weather is warm, grass growing fast, new chicks and now a new litter of guinea pigs (pups). We have quite the ‘herd’ or ‘muddle’ of guinea pigs.

Behind the scenes - bright white, crisp linen.

I have a new found respect for laundry companies. Thank goodness for ‘Buckleigh Laundry’ our local laundry and linen supplier.

I use a colour system for teaching my pupils how to play the piano but now….

I have a new colour system in my life:
Green is super king
Red is double
Gold is king
Blue is single

Hello! A very warm welcome to Wootton Manor from us — Mark & Carla, and our two children, Arthur and Rowenna. ❤️

We are incredibly excited to be taking over as the new owners and hosts of Wootton Manor Holiday Lets. A big ‘Thankyou’ to Maris and Tom for their support and guidance which has created a smooth transition.

Please take a look at our page and share it with your friends and family. We hope to share with you the beautiful setting and idyllic woodlands that have remained largely unchanged for centuries, while also sharing the care and sympathetic restoration of this wonderful estate, alongside some exciting new changes that we hope will enhance this beautiful 16th-century setting.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Wootton Manor and share this very special place with you. 🌿🏡
