Dear All,

The High Bickington Community Minibus has now passed its MOT and is at its new home at Country Ways.

The High Bickington Community Minibus remains an asset to High Bickington and surrounding villages.

The High Bickington Community Minibus is much valued and well used, by a wide cross section of the community.
Local darts, skittles, golf and football teams. For trips to the races. Shopping trips to Cribs Causeway. To and from family weddings and local parties. Family awaydays and sporting events at Sandy Park to name a few.

The minibus is a self-drive, 17 seater - 16 seats for guests, plus 1 for the driver (17 in total).
All seats have seat belts.
It is well maintained and has breakdown recovery.

The hire charge will be £75 for a half day and £100 for a full day.

PLUS - At the start of the hire the minibus will have a full tank of diesel fuel and MUST be returned at the same level, or the hirer will be charged for the fuel required to refill.

The minibus MUST be returned in the same condition as found or a cleaning charge will become payable of £50.

The minibus is a non-smoking vehicle.

Country Ways will send the booker a “Hire Acceptance Form” to be signed and returned as well as asking for the following:

Please note a pre driving check is to be carried out on the driver’s license to ensure that they are qualified under UK law, with no points, to drive the minibus.

Please complete the License Check on UK GOV web site (https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence) either send by an email or bring in person the check form (three pages). You will need to complete this prior to the hire.

Please note the driver will need their licence number and national insurance number for this check.

TODAY - Thursday 18th June 2026

Dear All,

Country Ways is delighted to be hosting the, “Chulmleigh Academy Trust Prom”, again on Thursday, 18th June 2026.

Cars and different modes of transport will be dropping guests off from approximately 5.30 pm – 8.00 pm and picking up again between 10.30pm - 11.30pm. Therefore, traffic will be busier than normal between these times.

Country Ways and Academy Staff will be helping to direct traffic on the evening. We are planning to have a one-way system on arrival and departure.

On arrival, we will direct traffic through High Bickington and down the lane past Welcome Meadows, Apple Tree Farm & A.T Motors, and turning left into Country Ways.

All cars and modes of transport will be held at Country Ways until all guests have arrived.
They will then be directed to leave Country Ways and turn left down to Potems Cross and then turn right up to the main road.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
