Good Morning to all our Highland groupies.

We had TB testing this week and thank goodness everybody is clear. We also got them pregnancy tested and we have got a few new babies due in the next three months.

Training is starting with one of our new babies next week and we have named her Pepper ❤️

Did you know when they are resting they ‘chew the cud’ . Basically they swallow food, regurgitate it and then chew it again. They are known as ruminants. They possess specialized digestive systems with multi-chambered stomachs that allow them to regurgitate, re-chew, and re-swallow partially digested food (called “cud”) to extract maximum nutrients from tough plant fibers.
