👻 **THE GHOSTS OF THE SUN HOTEL…** 👻

The Sun has stood in the heart of Hitchin for centuries — and with a building this old, there are plenty of stories hidden within its walls. 🕯️

Guests and staff over the years have reported some rather strange experiences…

👻 **Room 10** – Said to be one of our most haunted rooms, with reports of unexplained cold spots, footsteps and that uncomfortable feeling that you’re **not quite alone**.

💃 **The Ballroom** – When the room is empty and the lights are low, stories tell of a mysterious lady in white and unexplained sounds echoing through the room.

🥃 **The Old Bar** – Tales have been told of a figure appearing at the end of the bar… only to disappear moments later.

🕯️ **The Tavistock** – One of the hotel's historic rooms, where the atmosphere can apparently feel very different once the building falls quiet.

⛓️ **The Cellar** – Dark, cold and underneath one of Hitchin's oldest hotels. Strange noises and the sound of movement have helped make this one of the eeriest stops on our walk.
