A wonderfully situated holiday cottage in the unspoilt western Lake District, benefiting from a complete renovation in 2012, easy access to pubs, walks and La'al Ratty steam railway. Located in enviable surroundings in the tranquil Eskdale valley, in the western Lake District, you will be able to relax with stunning views, refresh yourself with walks from the doorstep, or local ales from a variety

of great pubs (the George IVth is only 3 minutes' walk), or even explore using your unrivalled access to La'al Ratty steam railway, which will carry you to the coast or up to the foot of Scafell. Renovated in 2012, the cottage has a light, contemporary feel and has been kept up-to-date with a large TV, Freesat, DVD player, microwave, fridge/freezer, induction hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. We are currently taking bookings through Sally's Cottages.

We've had a lovely week at Underhow ourselves. Some highlights accessed by foot from the doorstep - riding the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway Co.Ltd, supping a pint at the local King George IV Inn Eskdale, climbing at Diamond Crag, having lunch at the Estuary Views Tea Room in Ravenglass and visiting Stanley Ghyll. And for the wet days (just the one this week!) the fibre internet boosted too.
