What a rollercoaster of emotions farm life can bring. ❤️

While one part of our hearts has been incredibly heavy following the loss of our lovely Bluey, another little bit of magic has happened here at Wild Wanderers… 💍✨

We were absolutely thrilled to hear that an engagement took place right here at Oak Cottage 🥹❤️

From sadness to elation, happiness and excitement all in the space of a couple of days… it really sums up life here.

A HUGE congratulations to the newly engaged couple! 🥂💍 We feel so privileged that Wild Wanderers got to be a tiny part of such a special moment, and Oak Cottage now has another lovely story to tell. ❤️🌿 Do you think Wild Wanderers might be a lovely place for a wedding too! 😊🤔

My heart is broken, rest in peace special boy. I’m so sorry I couldn’t help you. You were more than just a sheep, you greeted us when we arrived, welcomed us to the farm and you said goodbye last night like you knew. You’ll be missed, the farm is feeling different without you. If you met Bluey will know how special he was. 💙🩵

Okay… we know. Calling it a wooden box might actually be being kind 😂🫣

But this little wooden box is where some of our favourite Wild Wanderers moments happen. ❤️

It’s where the pizza oven gets fired up, where guests wander over for pizza and end up staying for a chat, where strangers meet, stories get swapped, kids make friends, and we get to know a little bit about the people who come and stay with us too.

It’s never been particularly pretty… but what happens inside it has always been pretty special. 🥹

So we decided it was finally time the outside matched what gets delivered from the inside.

No more wooden box with amazing pizza. 🍕😂

The bar/Pizza Hut is getting a Wild Wanderers makeover… 🌿🪵 and a new identity!

And obviously, because apparently we don’t know how to leave anything alone around here, we needed to start another project. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂
