Had such an amazing day raising money for MacMillan Afternoon Tea charity event , eating lots of cakes and drinking tons of tea with old and new friends . Raised a decent amount, and donations can still be made via the QR code to the Just Giving page. Thank you to all that helped today. Xx

Award winning Flapjacks 😊😊 , got Silver at the North Tamerton Craft & produce show for my flapjacks , Gold for my embroidered Chicken and a bronze for my Single Rose - not bad for my first entry to this lovely show. So nice to see all the wonderful bakes and produce, only a small village but lots of talented entries.

Tons of stunning roses in the garden at the moment, if only you could smell them, just enjoying the last few hours of sunshine before the rain appears again next week

Wonderful day out at Golitha Falls, nice and shaded for the dogs , plenty of water splashing about areas, thank you to our guests who recommended this place to us. Inkies bbq restaurant looked fabulous but unfortunately huge queues today, will try another day. It’s a small car park, so get here early is the advice. About 40 mins from us, will def be visiting again.

Bude Canal walk didn’t disappoint this morning, lots of goslings and ducklings to see and plenty of bird song to listen to. And of course a trip to The Weir for brunch, managed to dodge the showers and even had a tiny bit of sunshine 🌞.

A wonderful day yesterday to potter about on the Kubota, the meadow is looking stunning at the moment. We have an enclosed 2 acre field for our guests to let their dogs have a good off lead run about or just have a wander by yourself - it’s very peaceful. The roses are all starting to burst out, the first one that always comes out is this pink /white candy stripe beauty and it smells delicious.

A little walk out to Hartland Quay this morning, we’ve been working hard in the garden this weekend and needed a break away. Very dramatic coastline, well worth the trip out.
