Leworthy Farmhouse is a comfortable, family run B&B. We are cyclist and walker friendly, give us a call to book!

We take great pride in our Breakfasts, we rear our own pigs for sausage and bacon, and our quiet location means an peaceful nights sleep. We are a friendly, traditional B&B situated in a quiet, rural hamlet 3 miles from Holsworthy. Leworthy Farmhouse is a registered smallholding, with our own pigs and chickens, and a private coarse fishing lake. Our 7 generously sized rooms are all ensuite, with

free wifi throughout, a TV in each room, complimentary tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk and home made cake. We are 20 minutes from the seaside town of Bude, and 30 minutes from Okehampton and Dartmoor. Leworthy is close enough to enjoy the stunning North Devon and Cornwall coastline whilst being far enough inland to escape the bustle during the busier months. A traditional Farmhouse Breakfast menu is served in the spacious guest dining room, with sausages, bacon and eggs produced directly from our smallholding, and all other ingredients locally sourced. The guest lounge is comfortably furnished and has a homely feel with books and games available for your entertainment. We welcome cyclists, walkers and surfers, with secure lock up for your bikes and boards, and extensive knowledge of the local cycle routes, trails and beaches. We hope you enjoy your visit here as much as we enjoy having visitors to our beautiful corner of England.

Happy Easter!!
Spring has sprung here at Leworthy, and we're ready to welcome summer and our lovely guests.
We've still got some availability on the self catering cottages, and plenty of availability in the B&B.
You can bring as much luggage as you like, and there are no passport or security queues if you cross the Devon/Cornwall border 😃

It's been a while since our last post, the whole summer in fact. It was a busy one. Thanks to everyone who came and stayed at our lovely B&B.
Things are getting quieter now, I've had a little time to get outside, so glad I did. Look at this beauty I found in the garden today 🍄 I'm thinking its a Larch Bolete, does anyone have any knowledge rather then my google lens search??

Self catering still open throughout the winter, plenty of availability for a weekend away in the Devon/Cornwall countryside

I've decided I'm not going to eat it, though I do eat a field mushroom when I find one 😋

We had the first ice cream of the season at the beach this weekend. And there will be plenty more this week with all the sun we are forecast 🌞

We have rooms available, and plenty of opinions about the best ice cream flavour 😋

I was taking some photos this morning after feeding the chickens. It was just such a beautiful morning, I decided to eat my breakfast outside, porridge topped with apple from my parents garden.

Next weekend we open to guests!! We are fully booked over Easter weekend, but we still have a couple of rooms for the following week and into May.

If you really want, we can serve breakfast outside 😆 Or maybe order one of platters for an evening meal outside 🥖🧀🥩

We are often asked 'what do you do in the winter?' - one of the best jobs is eating at local restaurants so we can recommend them to our guests

What a welcome sight! The road to Leworthy is lined with golden Daffodils, such a wonderful time of year.

We are making the most of the good weather, shrubs are being cut back, blankets, duvets and bed linen all being washed and aired. We are having a proper spring clean ready for our Easter guests.

I've been testing out potential new dishes for breakfast 😋
It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it. And I love, love, love Eggs Benedict, even better with eggs from our chickens laid just yesterday 🥚

We are looking forward to opening the B&B for the 2025 season at Easter 🌞

It's all been a bit quiet on the socials for a while. Don't worry we've still been busy, no rest for the wicked! There's been rooms to refurb, fences to paint, chimneys to sweep, appliances to service. Then there's the awesome sunrises to photograph, and trips to the beach for some Vitamin Sea 🏖

We hope to see you all when we open for the season at Easter. Meanwhile the cottages are available if you fancy a little break 🛏

Free Breakfast!!

Yes, this breakfast is free when you book a room with us here at Leworthy Farmhouse B&B, and there's as much cereal, toast, fruit and yogurt as you can eat. Other egg options are available, my favourite is poached 🥚🍳

The accommodation is pretty special too ☺️

We're having a cheeky bacon sandwich for lunch, made with bacon from our own Leworthy Pigs. The Mr has his with ketchup, the Mrs thinks he's ruined the wonderful flavour. Has anyone got any views on this debate??

How lucky are we! Our local beaches at Widemouth and Bude's Summerleaze and Crooklets Beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status and Seaside awards for 2024. Here's a pic of Widemouth at lowtide for you to enjoy. Or better still, come and stay with us and see for yourself!!

Aurora Borealis over Leworthy last night. We're on the edge of a dark sky area, but didn't ever think we'd see something so beautiful this far south ☺️
