Puppies at Parnacott - yes, what a perfect day it has been!! The beautiful weather brought out 9 gorgeous puppies for their first experience of grass and extended sunshine. Needless to say, they loved the experience and had many family admirers - including Layla!
By the way, we also accommodate human beings...

March winds blow and the temperature at Parnacott has dropped this morning but it is sunny and the sky is blue. Dogs love this sort of weather, the breeze bringing so many tantalising scents, and so much ground to explore. We are delighted to announce that we accept 3 dogs now - just as long as they are well behaved! Parnacott is very definitely a dog friendly holiday home.
Why not grab yourself a weekend break and let those cobwebs get blown away.

Today at Parnacott the bright, fresh March air is filled with birdsong. Bumble bees are buzzing around the celandines on the lawn. Rhododendrons are breaking out in flower already. Parnacott House gardens are vibrant with early spring life.
We are looking forward to welcoming our Easter visitors and cannot help but wonder why the early May Bank Holiday hasn't yet been snapped up - it's on a very good offer at present.
Have we mentioned that dogs love it at Parnacott.

The dawn chorus earlier, much earlier, this morning was full throated and quite magnificent. After the last couple of days Spring is now definitely making its presence felt - very, very welcome!
Weekend breaks are available to book before and after the Easter week and dogs do love it here. Happily, most of our local and very lovely beaches are dog friendly. Contact us.

St David's Day has certainly been a very windy one here at Parnacott House, and, as ever, very special. Our Welsh roots go back a long way as well as now being able to boast of much closer members of the Parnacott family. We celebrate those connections on this day and on that note it is definitely worth stating that Parnacott is the perfect place for family celebrations. Sleeping up to 14 in 7 bedrooms, Parnacott is well set up for family and friends to come together to create many memorable moments. Children and dogs are very welcome.

February at Parnacott bows out in beautiful early Spring sunshine with the promise of a fine summer to come.
The days are lengthening, the gardens full of primroses, camellias, daffodils and early rhododendrons - just perfect for a weekend break. Dogs very welcome here.

It gives us great joy to know that our holidaymakers have just enjoyed a special birthday celebration at Parnacott, as did their dogs. At this time of year and let's call it early Spring for the twilight chorus is in song right outside my window, and the daffs and camellias are out, we are available to book for weekends, short and long, and are children and dog friendly.

Yesterday's glorious sunshine reminded us vivdly that there are many more sunny days ahead - thank goodness! Now is a good time to plan a weekend break in May or even a get-away for a full week, say the summer half-term holiday at the end of May.
Parnacott is children and dog friendly and our location puts us within an easy drive of the lovely coastal resort of Bude, and the south West Coastal Footpath.
Outside it is now brightening - dog walking time. Hurrah!

Enjoyed a walk with Cinammon after lunch. Always think what a great place Parnacott is for dogs.
Camellias, snowdrops, daffodils out with many more to come. Bluebells pushing upward too.
