Heading to Wells beach? Check the tide times before you go.
We’ve shared the tide times below to help you plan your visit and enjoy our beautiful coastline safely.
Our RNLI lifeguards are on the beach, so if you’re planning a swim, please choose a lifeguarded beach and swim between the red and yellow flags this is the area the lifeguards have identified as the safest place to swim.
This year also marks 25 years of RNLI lifeguards, with lifeguards helping to keep people safe around our coast since 2001.
We’re incredibly proud to work alongside our lifeguard colleagues here at Wells, sharing the same goal: helping everyone enjoy the coast and return home safely.
Remember, the tide can move quickly around Wells and Holkham, with channels and creeks filling as the tide comes in. Check the tide times, follow local safety information and, if you’re unsure, speak to the lifeguards.
If you get into difficulty at the coast, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
Enjoy the beach, swim between the flags and stay safe. 💙🧡
