After a great deal of thought, we’ve made the decision to pass the garden centre into new hands - something that hasn’t been easy, as it’s been such a special part of the Kelling Estate for the past nine years and a place we have loved watching grow into somewhere people come not just to shop, but to spend time, find inspiration, and feel at home.
We truly believe we’ve found the right people to take it forward - Blue Diamond will be the new owners of Holt Garden Centre from tomorrow, Friday 1 May.
Alan Roper and his team have great ideas and plans and care deeply about garden centres and their communities, and we are excited to see how they build on everything that’s already been created, while keeping the heart of the business - the wonderful team, the setting, and its unique spirit.
We’ll still be close by as neighbours on the Estate and watching with interest as they continue to grow the business further.
On a personal level, we would like to say thank you to our customers for your support over the years, and to our team for all of their hard work and effort, it is so hugely appreciated and we have enjoyed every moment.
