Just closing up for the winter period (only two months!), and had a walk on the heath in the sunshine. Looking forward to reopening at half term in February 🙂

Thank you to all the guests who have stayed with us this year. We were fully booked from the last week of March to September inclusive, with some additional bookings either side! Thank you also to those of you who have already booked for next year. We really enjoy hosting you (and enjoy our own time at Safe Haven in between bookings 🙂).

Really interesting walk this morning at Kelling Heath Holiday Park with Pathmakers and Jon Tyler. 'Revealing the Lost Realms of the Norfolk Coast', we covered the Cromer ridge, Doggerland, the Bronze age burial mound (photo) and the Saxon iron quarry. Plus we did some fire and rope bushcraft and created a model sea henge!
