We’re delighted to be returning for a spring pop-up at Country House Flowers on Friday 3 & Saturday 4 April. After such a lovely response last time, we’re bringing an even more beautiful collection inspired by the charm of a gardener’s cottage — and what better setting than an English country flower shop in full seasonal bloom?

Country House Flowers is a Holt-based floral studio known for its natural, garden-led style. Working with British-grown flowers and local growers, they create romantic, seasonal arrangements inspired by English country houses and the landscapes around them.

Spinks Nest began as a lovingly restored boutique cottage in North Norfolk, designed with warmth, craft and character at its heart. The Store at Spinks Nest grew from that same ethos — offering a curated collection of homewares, cottage-inspired pieces and thoughtful objects that celebrate comfort, nature and slow living.

Yes… the house was designed around this bath. 🛁✨

A reclaimed cast-iron tub, sandblasted and left to rust naturally, sits beside a wide window overlooking the River Glaven and woodland beyond.

You can soak while:
🌲 watching trees move in the wind
🐦 listening to birdsong
🌊 hearing the water flow past

It’s private. It’s peaceful. And it might be the most photographed bath in North Norfolk.

Split between a working scullery and a main kitchen, it features:

🧼 a huge reclaimed laboratory sink (for hiding messy dishes)
🌿 seasonal displays picked straight from the garden
🟦 bespoke blue tiles and vintage Delft treasures

It’s where mornings begin and evenings end — with long dinners, good bread, and very full glasses.

Favourite room? Always the pantry.

This was our second visit, booking both properties Riverbank and Spinks Nest for the family

If you are looking for somewhere that’s a little bit different, this is the place for you, both properties are well equipped, bursting with character and filled with quirky interiors.

The village is peaceful and off the beaten track yet conveniently close to Holt for all your provisions and only a short drive to the stunning Holkham Beach. There are also plenty of walks, pubs, and restaurants in the area to keep you busy.
