Here we are again soaking up the beautiful Norfolk sky and a trip to Wells beach, hired a beach hut for a day which is such a lovely way to enjoy the beach with a cuppa and the paper. “Slow you down” - and take a breath of that magical Norfolk sea air and atmosphere.

Little day trip to check that the Lodge remains perfect for guests, new quality mattresses in the second bedroom and the dogs checked out the secure garden. Squirrels kept them busy and the sweet chestnuts are now falling as the last of the summer sun warms the dappled shade. There’s still plenty of reason to be here.

If you can’t persuade your kids to come
on a bike ride or a hike with you, allow them a bit of screen time. Or maybe you have to work and need internet? We have starlink installed now and a nice clear route through from the lodge straight to the satellite.

Fitted a new oak floor over half term, and took delivery of a brand new leather suite. The sofa bed is sooooooo comfy.

If you come and stay with us over the winter period - you could be rewarded with muntjac outside the Lodge, and seals a stones throw away on Horsey beach.
