🏰 Plas Newydd, Ynys Môn
📅 12–13 September | 9.30am–5pm
Explore the historic house, gardens and parkland overlooking the Menai Strait. Art activities will also be available. No booking required.
🏰 Penrhyn Castle, Bangor
📅 19–20 September | 10am–5pm
Enjoy free entry to the castle and grounds, with slate-splitting demonstrations throughout the weekend and Victorian kitchen baking on Sunday. No booking required and parking is free.
🌺 Bodnant Garden, Conwy
📅 12–13 September | 9.30am–5pm
Enjoy free entry to this spectacular Grade I-listed garden, with its Italianate terraces, riverside walks and colourful late-summer displays of dahlias, roses and hydrangeas. No booking required.
More than 200 historic sites, landmarks and hidden gems across Wales are taking part during September, although some activities must be booked in advance.

Just over 2 years ago as part of the drainage project in the fields, we created a large water catchment with pond and a marshy grassland around it. An area for wildlife to live in their own little protected space 🤙😊
