Close to major transport links - with a bus stop at the entrance to the driveway and 15 minutes walk to the train station with direct links to London Waterloo and Exeter Central. Near-by family actives like Escot Wildwood, Crealy Adventure Park and the Donkey sanctuary provide something for everyone. For the more adventurous, skydiving, outdoor karting at Mansell raceway and motor sport at Wiscombe Hill Climb provide more things to do on your holiday list. Surrounded by fields, there is always something to see. We look forward to the arrival of our swallows in Spring, with their pond dipping antics, together with the night time chorus of amorous frogs and toads. We are privileged to be able to enjoy regular visitors such as beautiful birds of prey (Tawny owls, buzzards and sparrow hawks) along with badgers, foxes and majestic Roe deer, who come right up to the cottages. During the day, visit our own Jurassic Park with Christina our pot bellied pig, humorous Indian Runner ducks, Percy the peacock and our happy chickens. Moor hens, wild ducks and other feathered visitors frequent our field pond. Sit and enjoy the wonder of dragonflies. In the evening take a walk in the meadow near the field pond and experience the wonder of our bats.
