All the seasons hold their special moments but I do love Autumn (may have said that about Winter, Spring and Summer as well). Our guests are making the most of the warm and sunny weather that we're having and we're getting some lovely feed back about the countryside all around us.

I love a happy ending!
A little cat turned up at Twistgates earlier this week. He was very friendly, obviously well cared for and made himself at home on the doorstep of a cottage (having popped in first and helped himself to a slice of piazza). The guests in there were delighted and spoilt him and he didn't appear to be in any hurry to leave!

A post on our local page tracked his owner and he was collected last night. Think he may have hitched a lift as he lives a couple of miles away.
