🍽️ A little kitchen update from The Pear Tree! 🌳🍻

One of our lovely chefs is having a little time away, so while we’re a chef down, we’re going to slightly shorten our food hours and make the menu a little smaller for a short while.

So, for the time being, food will be served:

🍴 Monday: 3pm – 8pm
🍴 Thursday: 3pm – 8:30pm
🍴 Friday: 12pm – 8:30pm
🍴 Saturday: 12pm – 8:30pm
🍴 Sunday: 12pm – 8:30pm

The menu will be a little smaller than usual, but there’ll still be plenty of tasty stuff to keep you fed and watered. 😋and some extra amazing pizzas on offer

And remember… the bar is still open, the b**r is still cold and the welcome is still warm! 🍻❤️

🍻 WHAT A CRACKING WEEKEND WE’VE GOT COMING UP! 🍻

And let’s be honest… Thursday is the new Friday! 😜

We’re kicking things off TONIGHT with the launch of Flagship at 7pm here at The Pear Tree 🍺
Come along and enjoy three samples over the hour, on us, for all our wonderful locals. Come and have a taste, tell us what you think and help us give our seasonal brew a proper Hooky welcome! 🍻

🎶 FRIDAY 🎶
We’re welcoming Jamie Felton music from 8:30pm. It’s going to be a proper cracking night of live music, good b**r and good company. 🍺🎸

🚂 SATURDAY 🚂
The mini steam engines will be making their way around the village before finishing up at The Pear Tree at 5pm!

It’s going to be a wonderful little spectacle of steam, so come along, have a look, grab yourself a pint of Hooky and enjoy the atmosphere. 🍻🚂

Three days. Live music. Steam engines. New b**r. And plenty of Hooky.

Sounds like a weekend to us! ❤️🍺

🍻 WE’RE LOOKING FOR A NEW MEMBER OF THE PEAR TREE TEAM! 🍻

We’re looking for an experienced Front of House team member to join us here at The Pear Tree in Hook Norton.

We’re a small, friendly village pub with a great atmosphere, and because we’re a small team, we’re looking for someone who is confident, capable and experienced enough to work independently when needed.

We’re particularly looking for someone who:

🍺 Has plenty of previous pub/Front of House experience
🍺 Is confident working on their own and using their own initiative
🍺 Is friendly, reliable and enjoys looking after customers
🍺 Is happy to muck in and be part of a small team
🍺 Can be flexible with hours, including late evenings and weekends
🍺 Understands that village pubs can be busy, unpredictable and occasionally require you to think on your feet!

This isn’t necessarily a job for someone looking for their first taste of pub work — experience and confidence are really important to us.

In return, you’ll be joining a lovely little pub with a brilliant bunch of customers, great b**r from Hook Norton Brewery and a genuinely friendly team. 🍻

Cracking pint …. Colorado

In memory of previous tenant of the Castle Tom Douglas brewed by his daughter
On tap at The Pear Tree while stock lasts and if tonight is anything to go by it won’t be around long

COLORADO 6%
A traditional strong IPA with a west coast twist. Hopped with a trio of English, New Zealand and US hops. Dry and piney with a smooth hint of stone fruit.

🐴🤘 TONIGHT AT THE PEAR TREE! 🤘🐴

Fancy doing something a bit different tonight? 🍻

Whiff of Horse are making their Pear Tree debut tonight from 7:30pm — a mighty rock band from just outside Banbury, playing a mix of cracking covers and some of their own original material too! 🎸🎶

Come down, grab your mates, grab a few Hook Norton Brewery b**rs, get some food from Giuseppe at the Pear tree and settle in for a Friday night of live music and a few drinks! 🍺🍕🎸

🤞 We’re hoping to be outside under the gazebo, so bring a jumper or a jacket — just in case September remembers it’s September! 😂

No need for a big night out or a long journey… just come and have a laugh, listen to some different music and enjoy a few b**rs with good company. 🍻
