If you’ve been to the Peak Hotel, you’ll know there are lots of quirky and wonderful things dotted around, all with their own story✨

But today, we wanted to highlight this little piece of Peak Hotel history…

This invoice was anonymously posted to us, dating all the way back to 1940 - showing a stay at the hotel for four people, bed & breakfast, for the grand total of just £1! 😲

It’s now proudly framed on the wall here at the Peak, where it’s become another little piece of the hotel’s story❤️

But there’s just one thing we’d love to know… who posted it?! 👀 If it was you, or you know anything about where it came from, we’d absolutely love to hear from you!

Safe to say it’s not quite that cheap anymore… although we do like to think we are still worth every penny😉🍺

We’ve combined the best of both with The Sunday Stack – a 6oz steak burger layered with sage & onion stuffing, cauliflower cheese, honey-glazed carrots and horseradish mayo, all tucked inside a homemade Yorkshire pudding bun.
