Birmingham Student Caving Club has been with us this weekend. They are a new club and really struggling for equipment. We have donated them a bunch of spare wellies.

If anyone has any none PPE kit that’s collecting dust and can donate it please let us or them know.

A busy weekend at the hut with trips to NCC shafts, Oxlow and diving in peak on Saturday. Then Moss chamber and more diving on Sunday.

Members of the club came together yesterday for our traditional Christmas meal. Instead of going out, this year everyone brought along something to share as part of a super-buffet. We'll be eating leftovers for days!
Aside from the sport caving, digging and various other project work, TSG has a lively social scene punctuated by events like this throughout the year.

The Chapel was rammed last night as members and friends of the club came to enjoy the annual firework night meal and socially approved explosion making session. No one got nearly blown up this year, which makes it an improvement on last time!
Thanks to all who organised this excellent evening, and to the farmer up towards Speedwell for allowing us the use of their field.

Our next big event is the Christmas meal, and then we head into our 50th Anniversary Year.
